Is it too early for a Valentine's post? For some reason soon after Christmas is over I get really excited about doing Valentine Crafts. Do you have that problem?
I actually don't think it's a problem at all! Why not get all ready for the next holiday? Now, I WILL wait a few weeks before I decorate for Valentine's Day.
As soon as I saw these blocks on Brown Paper Packages, I just knew I had to make them! I did my own twist on them. I used a 2x4 for my blocks and I had some words left over from last year, so I just used what I had.
They were so quick to make. I love using the darker color under the pink and white, then when you sand the edges, the darker color shows through....CAUUUUTE!
Leave a comment and let me know what you think! I read each and every one of them!!
They look great. No, not too early at all for Valentine projects. That's all I've been doing the last few days is cleaning the house and making Valentine's Day crafts. I'm not even waiting to decorate either. Super cute.
ReplyDeleteWay cute! I can't believe it is almost Valentines?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad we have Valentine's Day to get us through the Winter days. Your blocks are so cute Karen, I might just have to make some too.
ReplyDeleteThose blocks look great!
ReplyDeleteIt's defintiely not crazy to start doing Valentine's Day Crafts right after Christmas... I call it "good business sense." I personally just dropped off a load of wire heart and "love" pendants and earrings to one of my consignment shops last week.
These are wonderful! Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove them!
ReplyDeleteI love them!! Great job.
ReplyDeleteNo its not too early, I've been struggling with coming up with some ideas. There are so simple and cute, the absolute best kind. Wishing you might consider posting this at Sunday's Best party going on now. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love painted block art! Especially because you can reuse the same blocks each month for a new theme!!
