This last week I got the creative juices flowing! I love that feeling. For a while there I was feeling NOTHING, but then I saw Oopsey Daisy's beautiful Wall Art, and I got some ideas! Alison has such fabulous talent and is very inspiring!
Here's what you need:
-Old Frame with mirror {I got mine at Salvation Army}
-Tropic Bay Blue acrylic paint {Delta Ceramcoat}
-Sterling metallic craft paint {Martha Stewart}
-Burlap
-Burlap
-Fabric
-Sugar Cube Glitter {Martha Stewart}
-embellishments
-Tim Holtz distressing Ink {Walnut}
-Spray adhesive
-Sand paper
1. I decided to paint over the mirror on my frame. I used the Martha Stewart sterling paint for this.
2. Paint your frame. I went over it two times, then I went over it once with the MS Sugar Cube Glitter paint.
3. If you like the distressed look, sand the edges of the frame.
4. Add the burlap for stumps, fabric for the trees. I used Spray adhesive to adhere the fabric.
5. For embellishments, I used these cute little pearls that were about $1 for a package.
6. For the distressed look, I used Tim Holtz distressing ink for the edges of the frame and the fabric.
7. For the snowflakes, I used some vinyl snowflakes I had cut out with my Cricut a few years ago.
I am really happy with the way it turned out! I love the red and aqua together, don't you?
Let me know what you think. I love to read each and every one of your comments!
Hope your having a fabulous weekend!
